As a primarily seasonal community, Fire Island Pines experiences a quiet winter, with many of its 600 homes closed until spring. This residency aims to transform this period into a flourishing time for artistic inspiration and community connection. Through The Winter Residency, the foundation invites queer artists and creators to inhabit these otherwise dormant spaces.
